November 6, 2012We at the PUC International Programs Office do everything big! And that certainly applies to everyone’s favorite scary holiday – Halloween.
We made sure our international students and our American friends had a chance to participate in all the traditional activities as part of their American cultural experience: trick-or-treating (ok, not really, but candy WAS involved), jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin carving, costumes, haunted house visits and scary stories.

October 11, 2012On August 15 and 16, we hosted an orientation session for new international students at Purdue Calumet. Based on the years of experience working with international students, we know exactly what you may be going through and what kind of advice you may need. We carefully selected topics and themes that we know will help new international PUC students adjust to the US culture: from opening a bank account and buying a phone, through academic regulations and staying safe, help with transportation issues, money saving tips, and doing anything we can to help you adjust to your new life.
